TURTLE BEACH STEALTH 600 GEN 3: THE HEADSET THAT FORGETS TO DIE
7.5 of 10 bananas. A wireless headset with 2.4GHz wireless plus Bluetooth, a rated 80 hour battery, and an Xbox edition that also works on PlayStation and PC. A strong value pick that is climbing the charts, but Amazon hides its price until checkout and I have not worn it.
By the Alpha. Gear review. Updated Oct 25 2026.
Honest note: This is not a hands-on test. I have not worn this headset for this review. I built this verdict from the Amazon listing and its Best Sellers rank, Turtle Beach's own product page, and a published deal report. I have not measured the battery, the sound, or the mic. If I get one on stream, I will update the score and say so.
Sit with me a moment. Every gorilla has been there. The squad is one round from the win, and the headset beeps, then goes silent. A headset that lasts for days is not a luxury. It is peace in the canopy.
What It Is
This is the third generation Turtle Beach Stealth 600, Xbox edition. Per Turtle Beach, it connects with low latency 2.4GHz wireless through a USB transmitter plus Bluetooth 5.2, and a QuickSwitch button flips between the two, so you can hear your game and your phone. Turtle Beach rates the battery at 80 hours with quick charge. It has 50mm drivers, a flip-to-mute mic with AI noise reduction, memory foam cushions made for glasses wearers, and the Swarm II app for PC and phones with a 10-band EQ. In the box are the headset, the USB transmitter, and a short 0.7 meter charging cable.
Read this before you buy: Turtle Beach sells separate editions. This Xbox edition lists Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, PC, and Bluetooth phones, so it is the safe pick for players with more than one machine. The PS5 and PC edition does not list Xbox. Turtle Beach also notes that some advanced audio features may not work in Bluetooth mode. Those are maker claims; I have not checked them.
Why It Is Moving
On October 25 2026 this Xbox edition was number 29 in Amazon Best Sellers in Video Games, up from number 35 in my October 23 capture of the same chart. The PS5 and PC edition moved from 93 to 78 over the same two days. The listing carried an Amazon's Choice badge and said 6K+ bought in the past month, with 4.3 of 5 stars from 7,072 ratings. In Germany, Golem ran a deal story on October 20 2026 on the PS5 and PC edition at 66 euros. Listen well: that is a steady climb ahead of the holidays, not an overnight explosion. Amazon's Movers and Shakers charts showed no data when I checked, so I am not claiming one.
Who It Is For
Players who hate charging, homes with an Xbox and a PlayStation or a PC, and anyone who wants to take calls on Bluetooth without pulling the headset off. Parents shopping for a first wireless headset get one box that works on most consoles a kid might have.
What To Watch Out For
The price. At my check Amazon would not show it on the product page, which it does when its price is lower than the maker's list price, and the list price shown was 109.99 dollars. Add it to your cart to see the real number before you decide. The star rating is good, not great, and Amazon may share ratings across editions. The listing does not list Switch, so do not count on it for a Nintendo console. And a short 0.7 meter cable means you charge it near a port, not across the room.
