BELKIN SWITCH 2 TRAVEL CASE: A SHELL FOR THE SMALL KING
8.0 of 10 bananas. A slim, hard-shell carry case for Switch 2 with a 12 game card slot, a wrist strap, and a hidden pocket for an AirTag. The number 1 seller in Amazon's Switch 2 cases chart at my check. Simple, smart, and fairly priced, but it is a case for the console, not a bag for your whole kit.
By the Alpha. Gear review. Updated Oct 21 2026.
Honest note: This is not a hands-on test. I have not carried this case for this review. I built this verdict from the Amazon listing, its Best Sellers ranks and buyer ratings, and Belkin's own product and support pages. If I get one on stream, I will update the score and say so.
Sit with me a moment. A silverback carries his young on his back, never loose in his hand. The young apes of my troop carry a brand new console loose in a school bag with a water bottle and a sandwich. Then they ask me why the screen is scratched. So when the top selling Switch 2 case on Amazon climbed six spots in a day, I read every line about it.
What It Is
This is the Belkin Gaming Travel Case for Nintendo Switch 2, model ENA002. Per the Amazon listing and Belkin, it is a semi-rigid shell with an abrasion and water-resistant polyester outside and a brushed velvet lining inside, with hidden no-snag zippers. It holds up to 12 game cards in a dedicated slot, has a hidden compartment for an Apple AirTag (not included), and carries by a wrist strap or a handle. The listing gives the size as 11.54 by 5.71 by 1.81 inches and the weight as 9.7 ounces. Belkin backs it with a 2-year limited warranty and ships it in plastic-free packaging. Those are maker claims; I have not measured them.
Read this before you buy: Belkin's own FAQ says the case has no charging feature, is not officially rated water-resistant or waterproof, only light splash protection, and has limited space for accessories, so larger third-party controllers or bulky add-ons may not fit. The AirTag pocket only helps if you buy an AirTag and use Apple's Find My network.
Why It Is Selling
On October 21 2026 the listing showed number 1 in Amazon's Nintendo Switch 2 Cases and Storage chart and number 58 in all of Video Games Best Sellers, up from number 64 on my October 20 check, with an Amazon's Choice badge, 4.8 of 5 stars from 874 ratings, and 4K+ bought in the past month per the listing. It was 26.99 dollars, shown as 10 percent off a 29.99 dollar price, sold and shipped by Amazon.com. Listen well: this is a steady category leader with a small climb this week, not a sudden viral spike. Amazon's Movers and Shakers chart showed no data when I checked, so I am not claiming one.
Who It Is For
Switch 2 owners who travel light: the commute, the school bag, the plane. If you share a console in a busy house, the card slot keeps the troop's games in one place instead of under the couch. Parents who have lost a console once will understand the AirTag pocket immediately.
What To Watch Out For
It is a case for the console, not a bag for your whole setup. No room for the dock or the charger, by Belkin's own words. Belkin's UK store showed this case at 3.5 of 5 stars at my check, far below the 4.8 on Amazon US, so ratings depend on where you look. And it does not charge anything; Belkin sells a separate charging case for that.
