SCHEDULE I: THE CO-OP CRIME EMPIRE THAT TOOK OVER STEAM

8.0 of 10 bananas. A tiny studio's co-op crime business sim where you grow, mix, and deal your way up in a cartoon town. Addictive and very funny with friends, but it is early access, rough at the edges, and built around drug dealing, so it is for adults only.
By the Alpha. Steam early access listing. Updated Oct 27 2026.
Honest note: This is not a fresh hands-on playtest. I built this verdict from launch reviews, critic consensus, update history, and what is known about the game today. If I put real hours in on stream, I will update the score and say so.
Platforms: PC only, through Steam early access (developed and published by TVGS, early access since March 24 2025). The button is the Steam page, 19.99 dollars at my Oct 27 2026 check before any sale. There is no console version and no Amazon listing for it. Listen well: the whole game is about making and selling illegal drugs, so it is for adults, not the young apes.
Get Schedule I on SteamSit with me a moment. In spring 2025 my chat would not stop saying two words: Schedule I. A game made mostly by one developer climbed past the giants on the Steam charts. Hype does not move me. A friend group laughing at 3am does. I read why.
What It Wants To Be
Schedule I is a business simulation in the town of Hyland Point. You start broke, grow and mix product in a cramped motel room, sell to customers by text and in person, dodge the police, and slowly build a network of properties, workers, and suppliers. Up to four friends can run the operation together in online co-op. The tone is cartoonish and dark comedy, not gritty.
What Works
Players made it one of the biggest Steam breakouts of 2025, with hundreds of thousands playing at once at its spring peak and a very positive user score. The loop is sticky: mix a new recipe, raise prices, hire help, automate, and watch the money stack. In co-op it becomes a comedy of errors, friends crashing vans and arguing over stock. Regular updates have kept adding content since launch.
What Breaks
Listen well. This is early access. Expect bugs, clunky menus, odd physics, and gaps where systems are still unfinished. The late game can turn into a grind of management screens. And the subject matter is the point: it is a game about selling drugs, with violence and crime, so it is not one for kids or for anyone who finds that theme a dealbreaker.
Who Should Play
Play it if you love management sims like Stardew or factory games and have friends who like chaos, and you are fine with the crime theme. Skip it if you want a finished, polished game, or if the subject is not for you.
STRENGTHS
- Addictive grow, mix, and sell loop
- Hilarious four player co-op
- Cheap for the hours
- Steady early access updates
HONEST COSTS
- Early access bugs and rough menus
- Late game management grind
- Adults only subject matter
- PC only
Store note: the troop still needs an Amazon referral for this one. Schedule I is PC only and sold on Steam, so no Amazon listing is expected. Steam is the only button until a fair listing is real. This is not an affiliate link.
