LIAR'S BAR: BLUFF, CALL, AND PRAY THE REVOLVER CLICKS

7.5 of 10 bananas. A four player online bluffing game in a grimy bar, where losing a hand of lies means pulling a revolver trigger. Hilarious with friends and a streamer favorite, but still early access, thin on modes, and miserable with silent strangers.
By the Alpha. Steam early access listing. Updated Oct 28 2026.
Honest note: This is not a fresh hands-on playtest. I built this verdict from launch reviews, critic consensus, update history, and what is known about the game today. If I put real hours in on stream, I will update the score and say so.
Platforms: PC only, through Steam early access (developed and published by Curve Animation, early access since October 2 2024). The button is the Steam page, 6.99 dollars before any sale at my Oct 28 2026 check. There is no console version and no Amazon listing. Up to four players online.
Get Liar's Bar on SteamSit with me a moment. Every troop has one member who cannot lie. His ears turn red, he laughs too early, and the whole table knows. In autumn 2024 my chat lived inside a game that punishes exactly that ape, and rewards the calm face that says three Kings while holding none.
What It Wants To Be
Liar's Bar is an online party game for up to four players, set in a shady bar of animal characters. In Liar's Deck, each round names a card type; you play cards face down and claim they match, and anyone can call you a liar. Whoever loses the call spins a revolver and pulls the trigger on themselves. Liar's Dice works the same way with dice and poison. Proximity voice chat makes the table talk the whole game.
What Works
It was one of the breakout streamer hits of autumn 2024, and the reason is clear: the rules fit in one sentence and every round creates a story. The bluffing is real, because your voice and your timing matter as much as your cards. With friends, it is the funniest table in the jungle, and the price is low.
What Breaks
Listen well. It is still in early access, with a small number of modes, and the content wears thin after a few nights. With strangers, especially silent ones or players who quit when they lose, the magic dies. It has violence on the table, even if cartoonish. And it is PC only.
Who Should Play
Play it with three friends who love card nights, poker faces, and loud voice chat. Skip it if you play alone or with random players; Buckshot Roulette gives you a solo Dealer to fight.

Store note: the troop still needs an Amazon referral for this one. Liar's Bar is PC only and sold on Steam, so no Amazon listing is expected. Steam is the only button until a fair listing is real. This is not an affiliate link.
