LOGITECH G PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE: A CLICK YOU CAN TUNE, AT A PRICE YOU WILL FEEL

The Logitech G PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE wireless gaming mouse in black, from the Amazon listing

7.5 of 10 bananas. Logitech's newest flagship wireless mouse swaps normal click switches for haptic, adjustable triggers, and it is climbing the Amazon gaming charts three weeks after launch. Brilliant tech for competitive shooters, but 200 dollars is a lot for a click, and the X2 still exists.

Honest note: This is not a hands-on test. I have not held or played with a PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE. I built this verdict from the Amazon listing, Logitech's own product page, and published reviews and news from The Verge and Digital Foundry. If I get one on stream, I will update the score and say so.

Sit with me a moment. For forty years a mouse click has been a tiny metal switch. Logitech ripped it out. Under each main button of the SUPERSTRIKE there is a sensor that reads how far you pressed, and a little motor that fakes the click you feel. It sounds like a gimmick. Pro players did not treat it like one.

What It Is

The PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE is a wireless gaming mouse for PC and Mac that Logitech launched in the US on October 6 2026 at 199.99 dollars, in black or pink. It replaces mechanical switches with what Logitech calls the Haptic Inductive Trigger System, or HITS. In the G HUB software you can set ten actuation points, five rapid trigger steps that release the click early for faster spam, and six strengths of haptic click feel, including off. Logitech lists 59 grams for the US model, a HERO 2 sensor, LIGHTSPEED wireless, 8,000 Hz polling both wireless and wired over USB-C, and up to 135 hours per charge.

What changed from the X2: The Verge calls it more of a 1.5 than a true sequel. Digital Foundry found it better balanced and less front heavy, with longer battery and faster wired polling, and says the click tech itself is basically the same. The PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE stays on sale at 179.99 dollars.

Why It Is Moving

In my daily captures of Amazon Best Sellers in Video Games, the X3 sat at number 84 on Oct 28 and number 68 on Oct 29, a 16 place climb in one day for a 200 dollar mouse. The Amazon listing showed Amazon's Choice, 4K plus bought in the past month, and 4.6 stars from 156 ratings at my check. Behind it is the X2's story: Logitech says the X2 sold out in under a week after its February 2026 launch, and pros pushed for the refresh.

Who It Is For

Competitive shooter and MOBA players on PC who care about every millisecond, and anyone who wants to tune exactly how a click feels. It is a symmetrical shape, so it suits right and left handed palms that like a light mouse.

What To Watch Out For

The price. 200 dollars buys a very good mouse and a very good mousepad elsewhere. For casual play, The Verge says the gains are incremental. If you own an X2, Digital Foundry and ProSettings both suggest the upgrade is small. Settings live in G HUB, so you need the software to tune it. And haptic clicks are new, so long term durability is not proven yet.

STRENGTHS

  • Tunable haptic clicks with rapid trigger
  • Light 59 gram US model
  • 8,000 Hz wireless and wired
  • Up to 135 hours per charge

HONEST COSTS

  • 199.99 dollars
  • Small upgrade over the X2
  • Needs G HUB to tune
  • New tech, long term durability unknown
ALPHA VERDICT: 7.5 of 10. Buy it if you play competitive shooters and want the fastest, most tunable click money can buy. Everyone else should pick a cheaper mouse; the G305 is still my budget king. Get the Logitech G PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE (Black) on Amazon, then meet the troop on Twitch.
