ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN: A NIGHT OUT, NOT A NEW LANDS BETWEEN

7.5 of 10 bananas. Brilliant with two friends. Thin alone.
By the Alpha. Steam storefront. Updated Oct 2026.
Platforms: PC on Steam is the button. Also on PS5 and Xbox. This row has no verified US Amazon game SKU, so there is no Amazon button.
Get Elden Ring Nightreign on SteamSit with me a moment. Nightreign wants to be Elden Ring you can finish before the troop gets hungry. Three players, a short night, a Nightlord at the end. It is not the next open-world Elden Ring. If a store page told you that, the store page lied.
What It Wants To Be
A co-op action RPG from FromSoftware: roguelike nights, familiar combat, bosses pulled from the family tree. Bandai Namco publishes it. Steam app 2622380 is the CTA.
What Works
With two friends, the combat still feels like FromSoftware steel, and a good night has a real arc. The experiment is honest. It is not a battle pass wearing a colosseum. When the squad clicks, I grin.
What Breaks
Listen well. Solo is a different, meaner game, and the map can repeat until the magic thins. No crossplay has been a public sore spot. Do not buy this expecting a story sequel, a duo queue fantasy on every platform, or 80 hours of new Lands Between.
Who Should Play
Play on Steam if you have two people who already like these fights. Skip if you play alone, or if you still have not finished Elden Ring and want that game instead.
STRENGTHS
- Excellent three-player nights
- Combat that still feels like FromSoftware
- A real experiment, not a skin
- Clear Steam CTA
HONEST COSTS
- Weak as a solo purchase
- Runs repeat
- Not a story sequel
- No Amazon SKU on this row
Store note: no Amazon affiliate on this review. Steam link is the honest CTA from the filled queue.
