Honest note: This verdict is not from a fresh hands-on playtest. I built it from launch coverage, critic consensus, patch history, and known play. If I put real hours in on stream, I will update the score and say so.

Platforms: Free to play on PC through Steam, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Paid expansions are sold in each platform store. I removed the old Amazon link because it pointed to a used-market PS4 disc of a game that is now free, and that is not worth your bananas. Steam is the only button, and the troop earns nothing from it.

Sit with me a moment. Anthem fell from the sky. Destiny 2 kept flying through vaulted campaigns, expensive seasons, and a troop that argues in the Tower like it is unpaid work. Endurance is not innocence. It is data.

What It Wants To Be

A multiplat looter shooter MMO-lite: gun fantasy, raids, seasons, ever-shifting vault.

What Works

Gunfeel. Raid theater. The social gravity of a fireteam that shows up.

What Breaks

Listen well. New player onboarding is a maze. Content vaulting and monetization still draw blood. Roast the systems.

Who Should Play

Play with a fireteam if the loop still sparks. Skip if FOMO and jargon already won.
