DUALSENSE LISA LIMITED EDITION: A POP STAR IN YOUR HANDS
7.5 of 10 bananas. The same DualSense you know, dressed in a design fans will fight for.
By the Alpha. Gear review. Updated Oct 11 2026.
Honest note: This is not a hands-on test. I have not held this controller. I built this verdict from Sony specs, the official announcement, retailer listings, launch coverage, and buyer reports. If I get one on stream, I will update the score and say so.
Sit with me a moment. I have seen many special edition pads swing through this canopy. Most are paint jobs. Some become trophies. This one sold out at Amazon in about 25 minutes, so the troop is clearly paying attention.
What It Is
The DualSense Wireless Controller LISA Limited Edition is an official Sony PS5 controller designed with LISA, the Blackpink member and solo artist. Per the PlayStation Blog, her bangs and eyes sit on the touch pad, with her signature stars and bold LL lettering, on a Chroma Pearl colorway. Under the shell it is a DualSense: haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, USB Type-C or Bluetooth, and it works with PS5, Windows PC, Mac, Android, and iOS. Sony set a recommended price of 84.99 US dollars and a release date of October 30 2026.
Why It Is Trending
Pre-orders opened October 2 2026 at 10am ET. TechRadar ran live pre-order coverage and reported that Amazon US sold out after about 25 minutes, and PlayStation Direct UK sold out the same day. Sony itself calls the run highly limited, and PlayStation Direct caps it at one per order. When I checked the Amazon listing on Oct 11, it showed currently unavailable.
Who It Is For
LISA fans, Blackpink fans, and PS5 hardware collectors. It also fits streamers who want a controller that reads well on camera. If you just need a second pad for co-op, a standard DualSense does the same job.
What To Watch Out For
Listen well. Nothing here is new hardware. Sony lists the same DualSense features, so you pay for design only. Stock is limited and Amazon showed it unavailable at my check, so watch for resellers asking more than the recommended price, and check the seller before you pay. In PS4 games over Remote Play, Sony notes haptic feedback becomes basic rumble. DualSense battery life is a known complaint across the line, and nothing says this edition changes it. A pearl shell with art on the touch pad may also show wear where your thumbs live.
